Late stage capitalism, and the millionaires, billionaires,
and multinational corporations hell bent on staving off
their death rattle, they all collapsed too.

Now what is left is a few groups of people in both poles
of the Earth. The rest of the planet is too hot, too dry,
too polluted. Too adverse for anyone to survive.

By radio, they exchange updates about the few weather
measurements they can still take with the few rudimentary
instruments they can find.

From time to time, some strange signals interfere in their
radio communications, nobody knows where they come from.
