NAh 10/10 I genuinely think occasionally tapes puts out the best vaporwave projects there are, listened through this a second time and realized this album needs no altering. Each track, if fully listened through can give the listener a completely different feel than the rest. And a s someone who listens to vaporwave rock rap and electronic it is something I greatly appreciate. Thank you to all the artist that have collaborated to make this masterpiece. Possibly the greatest vaporwave project ever Favorite track: ヒップアーチロゴ - コンソールエイト - 08 現代の蒸気.

Sidenote This is a great example of not judging an album by its cover. It was a bit misleading at first but what we have here is incredible. There are so many choices to go through at 50 songs! Funk, classic vapor, mallsoft, ambient, mixing n sampling, you name it. There’s something for everyone.

Highly recommended! Favorite track: Floristic Regions - Vol 2 - 07 Blooming.

One track from every Occasionally Tapes release from the first 50 releases was selected for the album. Two of the longer tracks are edits I made, you can listen to the originals on the original albums. Lots and lots of my favorite tracks were left out, as I only picked one track per album and had to make some very hard choices as to what tracks to use. Despite being a compilation, this was sequenced and remastered to work as an album in its own right, and be a nice introduction to the label for newcomers. The track titles also contain the album names and track numbers that the tracks were originally released on for your listening convenience in case you want to check out some of the albums the tracks were originally released on. Use one of the download codes at the bottom of the description here to add it to your bandcamp collection for free!
